For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Test Lead (Transaction Services, Web, Cloud)

As Test Lead you are the linking pin between the execution of quality related activities, the quality needs and requirements and the progress in maturity and stability. You make sure that all stakeholders are aligned and on par and together achieve the correct quality.

With the IT leads you report the current quality maturity, define improvements, and select the right roadmap to make these improvements happen. You regularly conduct check ins with the squad and alignment with IT leads to make sure that the right information is shared with the right stakeholders.

The team
You will be part of the Transaction Services Delivery Tribe of our client, where you collaborate with multiple teams spread across domains in India, Philippines, Bulgaria and The Netherlands. We follow a Scrum Agile development process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to deliver better software faster.
You liaise with the Test Center of Excellence to understand and deliver input for standardization, processes and tools and make sure that the standards and policies are well interpreted and delivered. You take this message to the squads and align and identify the areas of improvement and keep track of all the required improvements / stabilizations and report back on these towards the IT Leads.
If you have bright ideas, they will be valued and supported by both your peers and your management.

Roles and responsibilities
You act as the contact person and identify the needs within the squads. You make sure to either share your knowledge or connect the squad with the right people.

• Identifying the needs within the squads, gather information, and make sure the squads are familiar with all the new ongoing initiatives in surrounding squads to learn from.
• Conducting regular check-ins with squads, reporting on quality maturity, defining quality improvements, and aligning with IT leads to ensure the right information is shared with the right stakeholders.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and gather (business) needs, translating them into technical requirements aligned with organizational goals.
• Identifying and managing risks and potential issues throughout the product life cycle, offering improvements across squads.

• Proficient in all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems.
• Experienced with financial institutions and/or payment systems, having held roles such as a quality assurance expert.
• Holder of a bachelor's or post-graduate degree, with experience in agile methodologies.
• Collaborative and comfortable working across various teams, serving as a liaison when needed, and able to communicate effectively. You build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs and expectations are aligned with testing strategies.
• A problem solver with a make it happen mentality, eager to learn, coach others, and ask questions to develop holistic solutions.
